The Accelerate Indiana Internship Program is a competitive program in which Indiana businesses and organizations will be awarded PAID interns at no cost to employers.

Paid interns? Who pays for the interns?
The Lilly Endowment, Inc. is providing financial support for students during the fall, spring, and summer to intern for businesses or organizations. Interns will work up to 15-20 hours per week for $11/hr.

What employers qualify for this program?
We are seeking businesses who provide meaningful work, have the potential to grow their workforce in the short-term, and offer graduates a competitive opportunity to live and work in Indiana.

Why target Indiana businesses and organizations?
We recognize the great potential employers in the state of Indiana provide for future jobs for our students. Internships are a great way for both the intern and employer to “interview” each other to see if a full-time position following graduation is a good fit for both parties.

What else should I know?
Over the last 5 years, we have awarded over 60 businesses a total of more than 230 paid internships.
